Below are screen-shots of some websites I have recently built and deployed. Each utilizes a
variety of web technologies to ensure a high degree of accessibility and
usability. For many of my clients I continue to look after their sites under a
maintenance contract.

Marialinda Design
Marialinda Design is a custom dressmaking shop located
in Milton, Ontario. They specialize in bridal gowns and custom
dresses, as well as supplying gowns from several high-end manufacturers.
They wanted a simple website which explained their services and would allow
their clients to view dress catalogues online.

Dundas Concert Band
The Dundas Concert Band is a community concert band located near Hamilton, Ontario.
They were looking for a website to attract members and promote their many free concerts.
The website includes sections about the band's conductor, concert schedule, membership and
how to contact the group. Since establishing the website, the band's membership and audience
have both grown by over 30%.

University of Guelph College Royal
College Royal largest university open house event of its kind North America.
Each March, the University of Guelph is opened to the general public in a
campus-wide open house that attracts over 30 000 visitors every year.
For students College Royal is also a 10-day long event that includes
popular events like Super Thursday and the College Royal Ball. The website
for College Royal must fulfill several roles: a marketing website for the
open house weekend for the general public, a marketing website for the student events,
and an information resource for event organizers. College Royal involves over 100 events
and has about 3000 volunteers involved each year. The website has been designed to
make all of this information easily accessible, while keeping the site as simple
and easy to navigate as possible.

Tim Moher Jazz Group
Tim Moher is a jazz saxophonist located in Kitchener, Ontario. He wanted a website
that he could use to promote himself for gigs. He regularly plays at formal dinners, cocktail
parties and weddings. The website contains important pages such photos of the group,
booking information, sound clips and contact information.

University of Guelph Orchestra
The University of Guelph Orchestra is a mid-sized symphony orchestra which encompasses a broad and challenging
repertoire. Continuously active since the early days of the university,
the orchestra has a fine tradition of showcasing the musical talents of
the university community. The goal of this website was to raise the profile of the
orchestra, while also building the group's membership and audience. The website
also contained information about past programs and audition information.

Laboratory Services
The Laboratory Services division at the University of Guelph wanted to establish a marketing-website to demonstrate the
capabilities of their labs. The result was a website that allowed potential clients to search through the various tests
available in terms of industry, type of testing, sample type or specific lab section within Laboratory Services. The
website itself is dynamically created on the fly using templates and scripts, in order to make the site easier to maintain.
My role in this web project was to design the overall site and set up the scripting framework.

Mill Creek Brass Band
The Mill Creek Brass Band is a British-style brass band located in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
The band has risen to artistic acclaim after putting on several large concerts and being heard on CBC
radio. The band was looking for a professional-quality website to match its artistic level. The
website contains information about upcoming concerts, sponsors and the band members themselves.

Andy Klaehn
Andy Klahen is a jazz musician located in Kitchener, Ontario. In addition to performing, Andy also teaches
extensively. He wanted a website that would show off his music talents using sound clips, while also emphasizing that
he also gives lessons. A booking part of the website gives examples of some of the small jazz groups that Andy can
provide music at your next event with.

Band Music PDF
The Band Music PDF project is an online library of concert band sheet music that is now in the public domain.
The sheet music is tracked using searchable database. The sheet music itself is stored in PDF format and is free
to download. The focus of this website was to have as simple interface as possible, while providing a great deal
of search functionality.

College Royal Fashion Show
The organizers of the College Royal Fashion Show wanted a simple slick looking website.
The choice of a black background was chosen to accentuate the black and white photos that were used on
the website.
